Re: Hello everyone!
Hi Ibi and a very warm welcome to the inner side of HSfB.
Firstly double on both having a baby and passing your NGC.
As you say, you may find it difficult to go right into a H&S position without the experience and without looking at going for the Diploma also.
In saying the above, please don't be despondent. You could look at H&S Administrative roles as an initial way into the industry and with being in the NHS (even in the non-H&S role), you may just be able to apply for H&S trainee positions, or voluntary work to gain some experience.
Attend your local Safety Group meetings. http://www.safetygroupsuk.org.uk/local-groups/ Look at Consultancies. They seem to be the ones who have trainee jobs at times and set your CV up to lean more to what you have seen in your workplace regarding H&S.
In case you haven't found our main site pages with all our free downloads to help with your refreshment, just click on the big logo at the top left hand corner of this page. http://www.healthandsafetytips.co.uk/
Good luck Ibi. Look forward to hearing how you get on.

Thank you so much Alexis for taking time to reply. Really appreciate it!
I'll look into those options as you have listed and hope something good comes up. I'll work on my cv most importantly as well.
Thank you so much. Glad to be here
