does anyone have an EV as a company car?
if so do you have to pay for personal use or is it given that if you pay for the charging to get to and from work (commute) and personal use .
or is it given that if you charge at home etc it covers this.
or would there there a cost for wear and tear?
thanks
T

Good Morning T. Very interesting questions. I hope someone has or is about to use one of these vehicles and can answer your queries.TWDB wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 4:02 pm Off the H&S chat

Re: Electric vehicle for a company car
No experience of this myself.
Experience of non EV company cars, it normally depends on the company policy on use of company cars.
Some companies are generous, other do the bare minimum. I suspect this will be the same for EV cars.
I would expect that if you have charge points at work that might influence it.
If i was charging at home i would expect not to have to pay for any mileage unless they made contribution to electricity bill? Is that reasonable?

I would say it's an HMRC matter, because they're the ones that control 'Company perks'....
