RPE for teeny tiny faces

Post by Kester »

Good afternoon everyone,

Has anyone had experience of fit testing someone with a really tiny face? I use the quantitative method and tried our Alpha Solway disposables (which are manufactured for the smaller face) as well as a small 3M 7500 series reusable half mask, but both absolutely swamped the tiny lady I was fit testing

Weirdly I did get a good fit with a small 3M 6000 series full face mask; it's just the half masks we struggled with. They leak and obscure her vision so are really no good.

If anyone knows where I can source an extra-small mask, or any manufacturers / suppliers I could approach, or has any other suggestions then I would love to hear from you!

(I appreciate that we can go down the loose-fitting RPE route but for many reasons I'd like to at least try and source a tight-fitting mask if possible before suggesting this).

Thank you in advance :D
