Just wondering if anyone here listens to any safety podcasts ( I know the HSE has one).
What do you listen to & are they any good??
I listen to some business / productivity related ones, but they are all american - I dont want to add US safety stuff to my listening list really!!

I listen to many podcasts but no safety ones. I’ll have to have a look on my podcast app

Re: Podcasts?
Mick,
I listen to the `Pre-Accident Investigation` podcast by Todd Conklin. And yes it`s American, but, it has regular contributions from non-American people and is very good. Don`t get me wrong some of them I take nothing from, but there is usually something of interest. They`re usually only about 30 minutes long so don`t drag.

Re: Podcasts?
I’m liaison officer for the IOSH Environmental and Waste Management group, I can set up webinars etc and when I took on the role I was also told podcasts, I had a meeting with someone at IOSH and asked the question about Podcasts and was told that they are not really that viable as the costs were quite large in comparison to a webinar.
Apparently IOSH Yorkshire branch used to do one for each meeting and had to stop fue to cost.

Re: Podcasts?
Listened to a couple of episodes now of the Safeti podcast. Neither of them were in industries I’m familiar with but got something out of both of them. Would definitely recommend.Extankman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 11:52 am I see this regularly on my twitter / LinkedIn feed
