Hello -
I am thinking of putting one of my team on the new NCRQ qualification. I have done the diploma and really enjoyed it but wandered if anyone has done the lower level one? Or what people think about putting their own team on it? I dont think my company will stretch the budget to stick another on the dip and I think it would be too in-depth for what they do anyway
Thanks!

Hello,
I have just started mine so can't comment much yet. My work mate has completed the diploma like you and quite enjoyed it.
Regards,
Tan

Re: NCRQ Managing Safely
Hello,
Like you I've completed the NCRQ Diploma however was pleasantly surprised that they offered me a free NCRQ Managing Safely course for quality purposes and feedback.
I've just finished the MS and can say over all that it is certainly a good course that has its benefits in the way it is present. Wether this contends with the likes of IOSH Managing Safely I am not to sure...
For the NCRQ you watch videos and conduct small exercises and then complete three assessments (questions on screen) which will then give you your certificate. Personally I think they should add a proper assignment at the end something like conducting a risk assessment or carrying out an investigation just so you are actually assessed on the practical side.
On a positive note the videos, content and handout you get are pretty good and informative and always good as a reference guide for later on.
All the best
