Hi all,
Been using Tapatalk for a forum for my car and it works pretty well as a mobile platform.
Would it be something worth looking at?

Re: Tapatalk
I have looked at it in the past Andy, not in too much depth to be fair. I can see the positives for sure, but on a personal note, there's just not enough time in a day to add something brand new to the site like this unfortunately. That's not to say 'never' though.
When you say in the car, I take it you just mean when you're out and about and not driving? I'd not feel comfortable if the forums distracted drivers with push notifications etc.

Hi Jack,
No, no.... It's a forum about the car type..... There's very little in terms of push notifications.
I certainly don't use the app while driving!! Plenty things happening on the road to keep my attention!!

OMG Andy! I didn't mean you, I was meaning in general, the collective 'you'
I'm really sorry about that, totally didn't mean to suggest that or offend you

Hi Jack,
None taken!! Didn't even register....
In terms of the time required to put it together - understand that you're in bo'ness.... my parents moved there earlier in the year and am 10 miles away in the ferry.... If it's something you think is worthwhile doing, is there anything I can do to help?
