Wondered if anyone can help.

Looking at getting a basic occupancy number for a multi floor office building.

I understand how to work out a floor in general but assume being on a different floor would effect this?

For example 4 floor building - 4th floor has three separated fire exits all are 1.8 wide.

Depending on the space on the floor this would allow 700 people on the floor but if all the floors are the same is there a calculation you need to include to cover having to walk down stairs and potentially joining others from the other floors leaving the building?

Hopefully this makes sense. Any help would be great.
