New to this forum - so please be gentle

Really struggling to see where I went wrong in my Unit DNI submission so looking for some tips, I feel like I followed the guidance to a T but whoever marked my submission clearly didn't. I got a 48 (2 marks away) from the pass mark - gutted!
I was going to submit an EAR but opted not to. When I complete my Unit A exam I got a referral at 42% however submitted an EAR and then got a pass at 50% (I got upped by 8%) so that really puts doubts in my mind about examiner consistency!

My areas of weakness are Executive summary scoring a poor 3 out of 10 which I really am not sure how that's possible! Also a 3 out of 10 on improvement 1, 4 out of 10 on improvement 2 and 3 and then a 2 out of 10 on conclusions and recommendations (again not sure how that's possible)!

Anyone else get a referral and struggling to see how you went so wrong?

U R so lucky, I have got ZERO for all the recommendations and got referred. If you are lucky you will get a competent examiner. My result was on hold till April 6 as they suspect there is some copied content. After many followups, they released by simply saying no plagiarism. I work in a healthcare setup for more than 13 years as a health and safety practitioner. One of my recommendations was Infection control issues in the construction site of a working hospital, the examiner felt it is irrelevant or not good for NEBOSH diploma.

I was very genuine with my report, followed only Nebosh guidelines, prepared from my own worksite.

This time for resubmission, I bound to get support from experts.
