Hi all, I wonder if any of you can give me your interpretation of a safety glasses issue I am trying to resolve.
We have a member of staff who has just started wearing glasses for close work. The majority of his tasks do not require safety glasses and the ones he works on requiring eye protection require a full face mask which he can get over his glasses. Do we need to provide him with safety prescription glasses? I've looked a previous posts and tried various other avenues but all the information is so conflicting.
Any ideas ?????????
Thanks
Therese

His usual prescription glasses and a full face visor is fine. If he is required to do work which requires safety glasses then maybe providing him with some safety prescription glasses would make him more comfortable?
So when the whole world is safe..............what are we going to do then?

Agree with Keith, If he only needs glasses for close work and that work requires the use of a full face visor then I see no need to purchase prescription safety glasses.
I would look at the full face visor to make sure that he is comfortable
