The RRO for England & Wales repeals the 1971 act - that bit is straight forward.
But the regs for Scotland don't - so I'm confused.
Fire (Scotland) Act 2005
http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/scot ... 050005.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Describing the infrastructure required to deliver emergency rescue services
Amended by: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/scot ... 050383.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006
http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/scot ... 060456.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Fire safety provisions to be made by employers and responsible persons

So I'll wait for the proper answer from someone who better understands the relationship between RRO south of the border, and the Fire safety Scotland Regs 2006.
