Paint Extraction

Post by EdlinghamHS »

Hi all,

First post so go easy....

My company is looking to install a paint lab in our workshop which is a large warehouse with plenty of empty headspace. Along with the lab they will be installing a blast cabinet and a spray booth cabinet.

I have been searching online for some clarification but to no success yet... my question is, does the extraction from the spray booth that will go out of the building need to vent above a certain height or can it go straight out the building at say 10 - 12ft?

If more information is required just ask, appreciate all the help!

Cheers

something to consider is where is that extraction going to go? are you going to be pumping it out in to a kids playground? the back entrance of a take away?
