Tall DSE User complaining that Standing Desk is too low

Post by WICN1981 »

Hi all,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to over come a user whose standing desk when raised to max level is still too low for them?

The monitor is at least 7cm below eye level, I havent been to his set up yet to see if he has a standing monitor or a mounted one….But then the desk I guess would still be too low for typing when standing. If it isnt comfortable then it isnt comfortable but aside from a new standing desk, what accessory options are there? That are safe?

Any ideas very welcome!

Thanks all!!

🤣 i was thinking along the same lines!

The guys in another building so not been to see him yet but what options are there? Management will mot buy him another desk that goes even higher…unless he is after one of those old Victorian super high desk and chair jobs.

Hi WICN.

Go to our Search function at top right hand corner and key in - too tall for desk -

It will bring up a lot of past posts which may offer some information to assist you.

I haven't read them yet, but worth a looksee until our members in the know oblige as they always do. .salut

Hi

This is for seats for tall people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHniwiKXy98

There is also a blog here, regarding top 5 best standing desk converters for tall people: https://www.btod.com/blog/standing-desk ... ters-tall/

Not sure if those are any help?
