.salut OK it's crowded, grubby, expensive and polluted , but sometimes I really love living in London

I wandered around Westminster today to have a look at the preparations and generally be a tourist and thoroughly enjoyed myself

Enjoy your Jubilee week everyone and especially the extended Bank Holiday

Hi Messy. Good Morning to you and Everyone. .cheers

I have moved this, (your Sunday post) into our Monday Morning area as it is just the right way to start this special Jubilee Week. clapclap

I always envy people who live or are not far away from all the jolliness in London during these events and especially this one.

The closest I get to this sort of thing is the Bo'ness Children's Fare Day, which great as it is, is nothing like the extravaganza happenings in London I'm sure.

You and everyone living close to the Queen's residence enjoy the coming week. spongebob

All of us way far away from London hopefully will also enjoy some fun to celebrate this amazing historic Jubilee. .salut

My only regret when we were tourists yesterday was I wanted to buy a full size self standing cardboard cut-out of the Queen from Petticoat Lane Market but was vetoed, sanctioned and heavily criticised by Mrs Messy  . All appeals that it would be perfect for our street party fell on deaf ears

Not that she is anti Liz, but she said it would be embarrassing carrying, and then sitting with Her Maj during the hour long Tube ride home

To be honest, I thought that would be part of the fun of buying it
