Good afternoon.
Simple question, which will hopefully have a simple answer; is there a way to keep track of changes to British Standards. For example, the standards for First aid kits were changed last year but it is only because I have been looking on BSI's website that I know about this. Are changes published anywhere?
Thanks.

Well actually BS8599-1 was updated in 2019, not last year.
BSI do, in some cases, published 'Tracked Changes' versions of the old and new versions, but for example, I've not seen a monthly list of new editions.
To be honest, BSI get on my nerves. They have all these standards, but then hide them behind paywalls on subscription services.
Unless you happen to have a library you can use....

Ah yes, good point. The last two years seem to have merged into one!bernicarey wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 5:54 pm Well actually BS8599-1 was updated in 2019, not last year.
Quite agree re BSI. It seems counterproductive to publish standards that we need to adhere to and then hide them behind a substantial pay wall. I hadn't though of checking with my local library - that is worth a shout.
Thanks.

Perhaps I was too subtle for you. The link was to Glasgow City Library Online resources....RPN_MSC wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 9:33 amAh yes, good point.
