Plastic recycling?

Post by Blackstone »

Hi all,

My company produces different types of plastic waste from our manufacturing processes and we are struggling to find a recycling company that is willing or interested in recycling the waste rather than us just putting it to general waste.
Its not lumps of plastic but rather from machining, so plastic 'swarf'.

We are based in Kent and any recommendations would be welcomed

Many thanks ./thumbsup..

We also can't get all of our plastic waste recycled but the stuff we can't goes to refuse derived fuel rather than landfill.
I think most large waste contractors can divert waste to rdf now.
If it isn't broken, that doesn't mean you can't improve it. (Do three negatives make a positive ?)

Have you tried this lot?
They seem to offer all manner of recycling schemes.

They even offer a scheme for recycling luggage, although it seems a bit wacky to buy a recycling box that would only accept a single suitcase.... .scratch .scratch
