I'm Employed !!!
After putting myself through the NGC a couple of years ago and finding someone who would give me some self employed work, i'm blinking over the moon to say i've been offered a full time position. I'm now a proper real life health and safety advisor. Yay me

Re: I'm Employed !!!
Cheers all, whats even better is my employer is going to finance my diploma. For someone who has been self employed for almost 20 years with various businesses its amazing to not have the stress of book keeping, accounts, vat, chasing invoices etc etc.
There's a lot of positives to working for yourself but for me, having as stress free a life as possible is more important right now.

Re: I'm Employed !!!
Well done! An inspiration to others looking. I was encouraging a woman I’ve been mentoring to apply for coordinator roles to work her way up to being an advisor .
she recently applied for one at a National company and I was shocked how tough the interview process was for the role. Not only did she blow the interviews out the water but it transpires that the job is an advisor role and they want to train her up
For those looking - keep persevering, there are people willing to give passionate newbies a chance, I would.

Re: I'm Employed !!!
Thanks Dave, The one thing i would say is, I emailed every health and safety consultancy in my area (there aren't a lot) looking for work and every single one of them replied to me, obviously all but one said they didn't have anything for me but the fact they all took the time to reply gave me encouragement in itself.
