"MEXICO CITY—Two oil workers were killed and at least 10 injured Tuesday when an offshore rig doing work for Mexico’s national oil company Petróleos Mexicanos suffered an accident in the Gulf of Mexico, the companies said.

Pemex said it evacuated 101 workers from the jack-up rig, which was leaning after suffering an apparent mechanical failure as it was moved into position to carry out well maintenance in the Campeche Sound, Pemex’s main oil-producing area.

It was the second accident in the Gulf of Mexico in just over a month. On April 1, an explosion at a Pemex oil-and-gas-processing platform killed at least four workers and injured 16 others. Three workers reported missing have yet to be found.

Pemex said oil production wasn’t affected by the accident"

One company: 2 accidents : 6 people have died (RIP), 26 injured and 3 missing but production was not affected - good to know
