Hello folks,
hope you are all well.
I have been job searching due to impending redundancy and a lot of the posts I've looked at require auditing skills such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and so forth.
I would like to undertake some training on these to enhance my job prospects and would like to hear form colleagues on which would be the most appropriate or starting point i.e which would potential employers prefer.
look forward to your replies.
Cheers

Horses for courses
I did the ISO 9001 Lead auditors course which enhanced my auditing skills.
ISO 9001 is a core component of 14001 and also 18001(although currently 18001 is not ISO)
You can get smaller conversion courses for 14001 & 18001 but to me if you work in this environment you dont really need them.
When you are taught to audit you look at the scope of the audit, what processes you are auditing etc etc so to me that is the important part.
So in summary, if I were to choose only one auditing course it would be ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditors course.

Re: ISO Training
Also interested in learning ISO9000, I've searched but there's a ton of information out there. Where would be best to start?
