I know Scottish people are meant to be tight but what was he looking for in a dustbin!

according to the metro this morning - he is locally know in aberdeen, he scavenges in the bins for cigarettes - on this occasion he dropped his hat and went further in to get his hat and got stuck.
he was stuck for 20 minutes and complained that the bin smelt awful
there was no mention of the stick but as he was looking for cigarette ends I am guessing he is not blind as he wouldnt be able to see them
