NEBOSH FRSM
Hi,
I am due to study for the the NEBOSH Fire Risk and Safety Management Certificate in February and was wondering if any one could recommend some usefull literature that i could peruse to give me a head start.

This is a good read!

Cracking book and I believe if you go through elsevier and it is your first order, there is 10% discount.
Try e-bay as well, but make sure it is the one with the red cover as it is the latest edition.

Worth having a read of one of the fire risk assessment guides.. which ever is more applicable to yourself..

After working my way through the reams of notes I was given by my training providers I was given the red book referred to a couple of weeks before the exam. I threw my notes away as everything I needed for the exam was in the book.

I'd be supprised if the building regs didn't play a big part in the training.
You need to know the recomended travel distances and widths to justify FRA findings.
They are regulations for buildings put-up, or modified after year 2000.
And best practice for older buildings (like stately homes etc)
There is a free download somewhere out there, or £15 via HMSO.
