Has anybody used Auditmentor.com before ?
A friend of mine has recently used Auditmentor.com and recommended them to me so i could do some basic audit training as i have no formal qualification on my CV but wondered if anyone else has used them ?
I am looking at doing ISO 14001 and 45001 audit training as it suits me due to my location (offshore) and i can do them online and at my own pace and to be fair they are reasonably priced in my eyes and hold and IOSH accreditation.
Thoughts ?

that was my thoughts, a friend recommended so had a look and thought it was decent value for money plus not having to be stuck in a classroom and being able to do it at work

This could be an option, however, is not recognized by CQI|IRCA.

That's odd that its recognised by IOSH and not CQI : IRCA but it could be that they have not applied for certification by them. Not sure i can get too excited by that because as long as it is recognised by IOSH i think i am happy with that. Plus it does at least show a degree of competency by having a certified audit qualification ? Happy to be challenged on that thought process though

Maybe worth asking them why it is certified by IOSH & IEMA and not IRCA, prior to doing the course?danwel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:59 pm That's odd that its recognised by IOSH and not CQI : IRCA but it could be that they have not applied for certification by them. I already have a lead auditors course in ISO 9001 although am not registered with IRCA, so may use the 45001 as CPD

Re: Has anybody used Auditmentor.com before ?
Just incase anyone is interested this is the reply i got which i personally thought was very honest and has made my mind up to do both courses in the next few months as part of my CPD......
Hi Daniel – I used to have a face-to-face course accredited by IRCA, but to be honest, they are very expensive and don’t allow any auditor courses to be online (as they believe that a face-to-face environment is the only option). Whilst I understand that there are some benefits (direct questioning) many delegates like the flexibility and cost effectiveness of online courses. IRCA also favour the large providers (BSI, Lloyds) with their fee structure.
So as IOSH are more flexible and have a better approach, we decided to go with IOSH.
Hope that helps
John

Thanks danwel.
I did ask what was the reason why wasn't accredited by CQI, but now I know the reason.

Hi
With this training, will we be considered competent for implementation of a SMS? By one of the UKAS accreditation bodies?
