Hi,
I am looking for some advice on what to expect from the NEBOSH Enviro Dip, i have done my NEBOSH gen cert and am looking at the Enviro Dip
I am away to start the IOSH Managing Environmental Responsibilities before i start the Dip to ease myself into the topic
But if anyone has any advice or can give me an indication of what to expect from the NEBOSH enviro dip apart from nervous breakdowns or dont do it
Any other advice will be appreciated !!
Cheers Derek

Hi Leigh
The main cases are:
Rylands Vs Fletcher (1868) – Strict Liability, the escape of Water into others land
Cambridge Water Co Ltd V Eastern Counties Leather PLC (1994) – Contamination of a borehole. Liability does not apply retrospectively in the absence of foreseeability of harm
Hunter and others V Canary Wharf Ltd and Hunter and others V London Docklands Corporation (1997) – the right to bring an action in nuisance in relation to ownership of a property
Margerson and Hancock V J. W. Roberts Ltd (1996) – Environmental Exposure to Asbestos
Plus reference to other cases that are covered in the H&S Diploma such as Donoghue V Stephenson (and the snail) - neighbour principle...
