Unit FC2 Help!

Post by Gary31 »

I am doing the fire safety and risk management course through distance learning which is not really a problem for me as this is how I did my General certificate. The difference this time is with the learning provider, they have given me next to no help on the practical side and no literature on the subject. Does anybody know where I can get some material that covers this or where I can get practical examples? Any ideas??

Also is the practical basically the same as the general cert and construction or is it more of a risk assessment? I have asked my provider but they don't really want to give me any more info until closer the time. I prefer to get this done with plenty of time to spare so I can concentrate on my revision for the exams

Hi all,

Joined this forum as I have just received my results for the Fire Risk management exams. Passed both the written papers with good results but to my astonishment I got a refer in the practical assessment!!!

I am lodging an exam result check this week. I tried to talk to Nebosh regarding feedback and all i got was a stoney cold "we don't give feedback" and then silence!

Thanks for your help Nebosh?? I passed the General Cert a while back with no issues so think I have the 'Nebosh way' of answering their questions!

I have entered a retake in April but really need to get some info as I could do the same again and fail. I think i put enough info in the report and completed my assessment with the check sheet from Nebosh to ensure i touched all bases.

Any pointers or doc that could help will be appreciated.

Thanks Ian

With regards to FC2. What lm reading, which may be wrong, is that you are assessed whilst doing the assessment. Hopefully lm wrong and it is the same as the practical in the NGC where you do it on your own at your work place then submit. Comments?
