Pass and Refer

Post by safetygal »

so I passed my practical for the fire GC but failed the exam by 1% (EAR has gone in)

really starting to wonder where I am going wrong - this exam was easy, I have passed Unit B diploma and Unit D diploma but constantly failing Unit C and now the Fire Cert

during the course the tutor told us that even if we put the right answer, if it is not on the list that they have then its not going to be a correct score which astounded me! (this doesn't happen with Diploma so I have been told)

I am wondering if maybe I am just not answering the questions in NEBOSH robot language - could that really be it?

Safetygal...... congrats on your Practical. clapclap clapclap clapclap

I am glad you have submitted an EAR. I do hope your Tutor is wrong in what he is telling you. Even if he was right about "the list", which personally I would doubt, then he should be making sure his pupils have enough information to crack "the list".

Good luck with the EAR Safetygal. I know you and know you know your stuff, (sorry for all the know's) so am very suprised indeed with the result!

Hi safetygal
A couple of pointers from me. I'm told that the markers do have some discretion as long as they note it and your papers have already gone through three different markers and assesses before being awarded the final mark. I know the EAR is there, but have they not just increased its cost?
