You read my mind. Just remember my poor old knee ! I'm London / Essex based if someone wants to pass me the olympic torch I could do the final run :D

I'm up for it, great idea :D

Does it need to be a physical hand the baton over or could it be we all do 'x' amount of miles to make up the miles the length of GB?

I mean, I could run a bunch of miles, cyclists could do their miles etc etc and if we total them all up, it would equal the distance?

Or do we go all the way and actually pass the baton between hands physically, like the torch?

I think it would make a greater impact if we did have a baton of some description to pass on and I vote for Woddie to do the last leg from his place to the top of Scotland!!!

I too think we should pass the baton and perhaps one that oor Woodie had made especially for us?

I don't have a lot of distance stamina, but I am happy to do a "trek" by whichever means I can. :)

oooooh it could be a hard hat shaped baton but blue with the logo on it!

but I think we need to bear in mind - 8000 torch bearers running a mile each in the UK so how many HSFB's baton bearers would we need .... :/
