Jack, i have noticed on another forum [not as good] that there is a function you can use to view all post in last 24hr, 48hr 7 days and on another forum an option to view last 10 posts, could be a handy feature especially if been away from forum for a few days, no worries if not possible

Stoker, Good idea, but remember you can click on our "view posts since last visit" to find missed ones.

Just an update.

This is very complicated to learn, easy to install and even more difficult to find a mod that suits

I will leave it in my tasks box and look into it again in a few weeks. Too much to do at the moment.

I have been back and forth to this service and have found one that will work.

The only thing is, it is very complicated and makes the running of the forums....to be honest.....a pain in the neck when new updates come out (I like to make sure the forums are as up-to-date as possible).

I will keep on reading up on this and will bring it forward next year sometime when I finally learn how to do it.

I really like it too, it's just making the thing work that is the problem ;)

If you want to see how it may look, you can view the modification on this forum here: http://www.towerwatch.com/forum/

I will be aiming at having the previous posts at the bottom of the forum, but this is how it will look eventually.

It will only be available in certain styles, so if you want the rolly thing, you need the correct style ;)
