Re: WhatsApp group
Morning jo.
All ideas are welcomed, but for me, this wouldn't be something I would participate in, however, let's see what others think.
I'm sure Jack with come in with his thoughts.

Regards,
Thank you for suggestion
For me - not a workable option, happy with content volume from the forum newsletter, Twitter ( https://twitter.com/hashtag/hsfb?lang=en,) and forum check-in's
Within a specified small or 'core' group - "What's App" is a great tool for rapid communication, personal or work-related IMO.
Just going to add a few links for general reading

Re: WhatsApp group
Thanks.
I am on twitter, but in our days, I am always trying to find the best way to keep updated.
The forum, in the way that it is, works very well and the best in the uk.

Re: WhatsApp group
I try to spread the site across as many useful tech ways as possible and to make it easier for people to share across their own chosen media sharing apps, it's amazing what's out there these days. At the moment though, I've not moved the likes of WhatsApp up the list of site improvements. That's not to say it's not a possibility in the future though.
Great suggestion, thanks very much

Re: WhatsApp group
I have to say that my experience of WhatsApp groups is that they get unwieldy and cumbersome when you have more that 10 contributers.
I sometimes do not have access to my phone during the working day and the idea of having 50 WhatsApp messages to wade through isnt something I would relish
I prefer the more passive forum approach so I can read (or not) messages when it suits me
