Hi guys.
Is anyone aware of this book? Principles of Health and Safety at Work - Alan St John Holt/Eighth Edition
The link is at the bottom to the actual book
I ask as I do have a copy of it SOMEWHERE!!!, and was wondering if it would cover what I need for NEBOSH Construction NCC1 and 2
I have a feeling it's in the loft, and was going to dig it out if it would be beneficial. If not, I will go ahead and purchase something else, if need be....
It may seem lazy but, you haven't seen my loft

Hi you!!
Bringing this one back again to see if anyone can offer any thoughts on this book Snoogal.
I would suggest you PM YoungNick for his opinion. He has some good past posts on how he studied and I am sure he would respond to a PM from you. (I don't usually point to individuals like this, but YoungNick won't mind on this occasion I think.)

Re: Principles of Health and Safety at Work - Alan St John H
Just come across this one
I have to be honest, i haven't heard of this one before, having a quick look on IOSH, a review mentioned that it was a good reference guide when studying the certs.
Im quite biased as i have only ever used two publisher study books which are all either from Phil Hughes, Ed Ferrett or RMS.... I would always recommend the PH and EF ones for the certs as i have used all three for NGC, NCC and FCC and have succeeded in all written papers so for me, i can't give them enough credit.
I would go out and buy this one if you can't read electronically (i get a headache after a while!) - http://www.bookdepository.com/book/9780 ... tAodIhgA6w" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ohh.... Like i have already mentioned thou C, the free downloads from HSfB i have shown you are invaluable when it comes to reinforcing the elements covered in the study books etc. sometimes it just takes another persons interpretation and written method/ powerpoint to make a topic click.

I have not read that book. But, now I wish to read that book. As I have entered in the field of health and safety means in the construction work. I will gain some knowledge after reading that book.

Melanie, you seem to be posting a lot in old topics. It would be nice if you went to our Introduce Yourself area and provided a short overview of yourself?
