Hi all

Thought I would update you all on the operation, went in last Thursday and operation went well, still some shooting pain down leg but not sure if that's just because of movement of nerve during operation and swelling in area. Lots of metal staples in back that are a bit sore but they come out next Monday.

Physio exercises are quite sore so cutting back a bit and see what happens, planning to be back in work in 2-3 weeks time depending on pain and movement, no point In rushing back too soon

Penners,

Agree take all the time off you can because if you don't and you come back too early you only have to take more time out later.
Hope things get easier quickly

Glad it went well ./thumbsup..

And you are correct, no use in rushing back before you or your body are ready :)

Hope you mend quickly and as pain-free as possible
