Started with a joke
I was informed that when I ventured into my 50s, that my already aching body would be in trouble - HA I said bring it on!!!
6 years on - I am on this that and the other medication from the Doc.
I have had so many tests to tell them I am healthy, but I am still in pain from my joints and on medication to counteract the effects of the medication given to relieve the pain???. But still in pain
Why do we not have a "medium aged" persons pill to set us up to our transfer to older years?
I n reality - it is a painful process - any tips??
Dave

If you think safety is a pain, try a leg fracture.

Id recommend taking Glucosamine with a good Multivitamin and some good fish oils, will help your joints out a lot!

try drinking all of these Calvados (Pear & Apple based Brandy), then G&T with ice and a slice, a Vodka & Orange, Bacardi with Lime finished off with a Strawberry Daiquiri. you get all of your 5 a day and, whilst it won't make the pain go away you won't give a stuff!

Agree Dave, but it is only painful until you come to terms with it. By the time you are in your "older years", you become invisible to everyone with some of the worst culprits being in the medical professions.ddlh wrote: Why do we not have a "medium aged" persons pill to set us up to our transfer to older years?

My tip? Some oily pills for the joints, a couple of visits to the gym each week and a holiday in Egypt a few times a year where they all respect people in their older years and think them "beautiful". Works for me........(most of the time)
Don't know how I will cope with the "departure lounge" age though!!

I recommend an evening RSI session with myself and a certain Mr Tom Jones where we will concentrate on arm exercises. Particularly elbow flexes.
I will contact Tom and arrange something for January. It may not cure your pain long term but the hangover in the morning will take your mind off all the other aches.

Alexis - Egypt for a bit of TLC sounds good and Paddy a bit of RSI also apeals - can we combine the two?
Set a date for my treatment Paddy.

Good luck with the Devils Claw Dave. Let us know if it really does work.
