MP3 player in car

Hi all

I have downloaded an album onto my computer from amazon, put it onto memory stick (works fine) went to put it into my car usb port and nothing happens.

Anyone got any ideas on how to get it to work

Hi Penfold

You should have a source button on the stereo if linked to the USB Port. Its usually the same button which switches between radio, cd and bluetooth and it should say something like USB/ iPod.

Also check which format you downloaded it in.

Sometimes you downoad them as MP4 and some players only support MP3.

You can get free software to convert them.

Thanks Nick and Will, If I download 1 song that plays fine, I plug it in press usb button and away it goes, album nothing doesn't even register anything is there. I even tried taking 1 song out and placing it on its own but nothing

To me it sounds like a problem with the album, so again it may be the format it is in .scratch

If it is not that, then sometimes it can be the way the USB is formatted. Try reformatting the USB and copying the tunes onto it again, that may work.

Other than that then I am at a loss to be of much more help, sorry

Hi all

Thanks for your help, contacted Amazon in the end and they advised to download a programme and import songs into it andf then back out again and it works fine
