Is anyone else having problems with logging in to the site?. Well not problems, just a nuisance issue?

Despite ticking the remember me box, I have to manually log in every time I want to visit the site. Its not the end of the world, I just wondered if its my PC or a glitch on the site?

Thanks

So sorry you (and perhaps others) are having difficulties Messy.

John is making some adjustments to the site in the background, which I am assuming, although, not until I contact him later today, will I be sure that this is the problem. John will reply as soon as he can with a positive reply Messy. So sorry.

I've recently updated the forums and it's probably a cookie cache issue. I'll check it out and see what's what.

Thanks for letting us know .salut ./thumbsup..

Try pressing ctrl+F5 to refresh the site please, hopefully that clears the cache from the server to your cache for the site.

I had a similar issue but was having a bad day with passwords in general that day (Wednesday I think it was), so put it down to my own ineptitude....

It's probably me as I am having a few unconnected IT problems today, just to spoil my day.

I spent a shed load of cash on a wifi booster, but the last few days the signal hasn't been great. So I switched it off to reboot it to find an avalanche of messages bursting through. Yes, only I could have bought a wifi blocker and not a wifi booster ;)

It's still doing it so it's not just you Messy. I'm getting forced to log in as well. Hopefully it keeps letting me in or the forums will be set adrift if I can't get to the helm!

Should be fixed now. I forgot to add the bit in the file after the bit to fix the sid bit and eat the cookie bits.

If it doesn't fix straight away, please press ctrl+f5 again and click the 'delete cookies' link at the bottom of the forums.

You will need to log back in again one more time, be sure to tick the 'remember me' box and that should be it sorted.

It seems to be working now, although when I "deleted cookies", I'd have been as well eating the darn things, as I managed to clear ALL cookies for any website I'd ever saved my login details for..... Think I've managed to remember/reset the important ones.... :toimonster:
