Hey T4296, welcome to the forums :D :wave:

That's a great question and I wish we had a definitive answer for you, it's just not easy as you obviously know.

Have a browse of the forums for similar questions, it has been asked quite a few times.

I think there's a mixture of things to help find a H&S job...

- networking with other H&S folks. Get yourself off to your local H&S group, whether it be IOSH branch meetings or individual safety groups. Jobs are often mentioned in these meetings. http://www.safetygroupsuk.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

- register for as many job sites as you can and apply for jobs, jobs and more jobs - http://www.healthandsafetytips.co.uk/Career_Links.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

- cold call local businesses and ask if they have a job for you, even a short term position. It does work for some.

- read our blog and sign up to our rss feeds, Facebook, Twitter etc etc - http://www.healthandsafetytips.co.uk/blog/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

- hang around the forums, things crop up from time to time

- think positive, your job will come along at absolutely the right time for you

Anyway, that's what I think :D

Mark. I reckon it's a typo and he meant HS&W = health, safety & welfare.

Just a quick one!!! I take it the above A1 Management paper is for the NGC 1 National General Cert, think I am 99% right in that, and not the Diploma, can someone clarify please.

Best regards
