Good morning Navigator and welcome aboard. .salut

I would think the answer is yes, however, not being positive, I am sure one of our more knowledgeable IGC people will come in with the answer.

Good to have you with us.

Bottom Line... ask your Tutor.
There's a lot of UK H&S Legislation that doesn't apply on Ships, because other Maritime Legislation covers it. as you're asking about the IGC, perhaps you could do it but many of the regulations would, I imagine, be specific to Maritime International Laws.

If you're not actually studying at the moment, but only looking at the viability of doing so, then I would ask NEBOSH directly. .salut

Good Evening Navigator and welcome to the forums

First port of call ( ;) ) as Bernie suggests, is your tutor.

I did my NGC3 report based on a Norwegian vessel, that was were I was working at the time .pirate . I checked with tutor and no problem.

Some UK info here :
https://www.gov.uk/health-and-safety-on-ships
https://www.gov.uk/topic/working-sea/health-safety

There are some elements of SOLAS that are comparable - http://www.imo.org/en/About/Conventions ... -1974.aspx and check out your flag state H+S / maritime government website to check their requirements also ./thumbsup..
