Help with an exam question

Hi,

I’ve got an exam in a couple of weeks and struggling with the below question:-

The results of a h&s audit have identified weakness in the organisations safety management system and in particular their permit to work system. Outline the key element in the Safety Management system which would have been examined during the audit

Would that be the Plan, Do, Check Act cycle, in which case the key element would be the Plan element I believe? However that is coming from someone with IOSH/ NCRQ knowledge which for NEBOSH I believe is different.

So, I guess my answer is not much help, sorry

I dont think its the plan do check act cycle.

I think its a question about Safety Surveys but I dont understand NEBOSH stuff, its like a Russian speaking Chinese whilst wearing a ww2 pilots mask under 50 feet of water. I'd be interested in seeing other peoples answers as i'm trying to decode NEBOSHian.

I'm glad its not just me who doesn't speak NEBOSH. I'm afraid I gave up on the diploma after 5 years of slog. Having this year off from study then going an alternative route. Not only can I not speak it I cannot answer in it either!

Is the question from a past paper? Did it not include examiners feedback?

I would have answered with the Plan, Do, Check & Act management system in mind. Audit is obviously in the Check section so probably would have answered with an outlined question regarding the CHECK section as this is the key element examined during an audit?
