Question help
Been given homework and got the following question "OUTLINE reasons why the standards stated in an organisations Health and Safety policy might not be followed"!! im struggling to answer or is it as simple as "when the policy is out of date or no been updated with new management or change of premises?? Thanks in advance

Other reasons:
1. Not published, people dont know where to find it
2. Too complicated, not in a language they understand
3. Choose to ignore it as they dont understand the importance of it.

There may be a lack of Training and competence of staff so corners are cut.
Lack of supervision
Poor resources to carry out tasks laid down in the policy
Deveations from the policy are the norm and accepted
Senior leadership does not back the policy
Etc etc etc etc etc
You'll obviously have to flower it up to fit the requirements of an outline question
