Moderator Team Changes - Ashanti

Post by Jack Kane »

Ashanti joined our forums on March 18 2004, the day after the forums were started. In fact, I met Ashanti on another H&S forum at the time which was full of adverts and wasn't very active. The pop-ups were damned annoying! Ashanti and I got chatting and I'll never forget what Ashanti said to me.....(maybe not these exact words, but you get the idea)

A short time later, the HSfB forums were born.

Ashanti has been a moderator with us since the very start and he has given us his fantastic humour and wisdom over the entire time, but the time has now come for Ashanti to move on and he has now stepped down from the moderator role. I'm sure Ashanti will be around the forums from time to time and we will all still be keeping in touch on Facebook.

I personally thank Ashanti for his fantastic contribution to the forums and the site, and quite literally, HSfB wouldn't be what it is today and it wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for oor Ashanti. So, thanks for the comment all those years ago my friend :D

Jack,
I'll raise a glass to that.
Ashanti has been a great friend to all of us on HSfB and his help and advice as always been most useful.
I just hope that stepping down does not mean him leaving the site for good!

HSFB with no Ashanti moderating :o

I know I have had disagreements with the old spud in the past but it doesn't seem right.

Best of luck with whatever will be filling your time Ipps

We're making this sound like an Obituary :( :(

How about a simple 'Cheers Ashanti!' :occasion5:

No need for obituaries and I am not going anyplace. I just dont have the time to justify staying on as a moderator and maybe not the patience either. I'm sort of embarressed but thanks for the nice words anyway.
