Good day

I have finally decided to do the MSc and from my research on the different Universities I have narrowed it down to two options.

1. Hull University
2. Middlesex University

Hull seems to be very popular under NEBOSH students, but is there maybe someone here that has experience with the MSc taught by Middlesex?

Summary:

HULL UNIVERSITY
FEES: £ 16 600 approx.
Modules : 6
MSc/MRes in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management (in partnership with NEBOSH)

MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY
FEES: £ 13 900 approx.
Modules: 7
Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management MSc/PGDip

Hull University is unfortunately already full for September 2019 intakes :(

I converted my research table to pictures and tried to put it in the post .scratch

With little success, I attached it as a pdf document.

As extracted from the respective University sites it seems that the Middlesex MSc contain some skills development with practical demonstrations in laboratory, etc. compared to the MSc of Hull that seems research and methodology based.

I might be wrong or misled, but to me the modules from the Middlesex MSc cover a broader spectrum that is attractive from 'n skills development point of view. .scratch

If you only do the MSc to say you have a MSc, I guess it is irrelevant what skills you gained apart from the obvious research and writing skills that are gained from doing a Masters. :D

Have you considered the PG Cert / PG Diploma / Msc course on offer from the University of Strathclyde? It is offered via distance learning and is focused on Safety and Risk Management.

Hi there Rob

In my search for Universities the University of Strathclyde never came up as an option.

Thank you for the information, maybe it will help someone else that is looking for a distant learning program ./thumbsup..
