I would recommend making use of the tutors and if you have any problems let them know. I had a problem after my second assignment, where I thought what I said was what they were looking for- and the tutor spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, going through bits and talking about some things which I was on the right track but didn't go far enough. He then gave me some advice on the third assignment which I was just staring, and helped boost my confidence.
The book is well structured, and I found the looking up the information helps, so you learn your way around the HSE website as well, so you know where to find answers.
Just be wary of rabbit hole syndrome- which is easy to do with some of the regulations- I fell for over extending one piece of legislation to include more machinery than it is intended for
