I am happy already just by watching a parliament of Magpies assist a hooded crow being cornered by a cat.
Fascinating to watch 25 Magpies fly from trees in the woods like fireworks encircling and swooping just above the cat's head, whilst the hooded crow ran to freedom.
Of course, the cat, being a cat, strolled home with an imperturbable swagger with a belly that skimmed the ground after what must have been a very fruitful evening. He was just being super greedy!
Nature is always full of surprises if we bother to take a few moments to watch and listen.
Anyway........morning coffee tale completed, sun is shining in Scotland and not even cold, so off for my happy Saturday.
