"First ever Status Orange high temperature warning issued as midnight temps could hit 26°C.

The national forecaster has warned that parts of the country could be set to breach the 30°C barrier, a mark of exceptionally warm weather only noted on a handful of occasions in Ireland over the past 50 years."

Car temp showed 32 driving home yesterday.

Hot and roasty-toasty for us is usually 15. Casting a jumper, even in 'Sunny' Scotchland, is as rare as catching a glimpse of the Haggii mating, or Nessie coming to the surface for air once every 57 years!

Stay cooooooool, drink plenty of water and take care in this unusual heat.
