I agree with you Glad. We should make use of the search functions. As I overviewed some of the topics, there are some suggestions and ideas that are more helpful and very informative in the previous postings. It’s just sometimes we are too tired to find it and just post the questions that we want to be answered. This is bad. I think you should try to make use of different kinds of functions that we have here to share our knowledge and ideas and come up a better solution. ./thumbsup..

And indeed they are updated almost daily so never be fearful of a search. Do your research then come back with a question or two. No matter how much research you do you will always have a burning question. AND...as has been said a zillion times, there aint not never a daft one either.

The only daft one is you...yes you, the poster who is too fearful to ask because of an inerrant fear of ridicule. I SO guarantee you chap / chapess, that will never ever happen on HSFB. There, that told you din it.

Search and ask away. Crikey this sticky has been running for a while. And yes, the ol Gladiator still lurks:-)

Sword at the ready, darn those Lions, they are big...ohhh,arggh, oh that was my exercise regime, up with one...then the other sock. oh to be 220lbs of lean machine again, methinks age has beckoned.

hi alexis, im aiming to pass 2 of the 3 exams, then i will only have to revise for the 1 remaining, well thats my plan anyway,
got to pass the first 2 thats the hard bit,
the management side of health and safety is very in depth,
i suppose i find the practical hands on the easiest,

my tutor paul is from that area, hes been really helpful , always at the end of the phone when im stuck!!!
and i do phone him quite a lot!!

The search function of a forum us SO powerful yet so underused which is strange when you consider that all of us will jump on to a search engine and type our queries in to the search box while hoping to find the right information.

The thing is, with a forum such as this, you're more likely to find the right info than you are with Google or any other search engine. But here's the main difference and why a forum can often be better than a search engine, when you can't find the right information by searching a forum you can go and post that question in the forum and I'll bet a penny to a pound that someone will come along with the information you were searching for.

Can a search engine do that? Nope

The search box of the forum is your friend :D
