Update: taken a new job :D hopefully confidence and positivity will return with new challenge - scary though leaving current place after 16 years (6 years H&S !) :shock:

Using Topset allows not trained people on the investigation team the ability to fully take part in the investigation without prior experience. If you are leading the investigation it will be unusual if everyone in the team was trained in incident investigation. It is a logical and step by step process to get to the root cause.

I did the Nebosh Intro to accident investigation, I did for some CPD and also because i was interested but in all fairness it was basic and more for people who aren't dedicated HSE professionals
That's how we roll in our house baby!!!
