I'm trying to find an ACOP which tells me what the minimum requirement of eye wash is required for a flt charging area but can't find anything, could anybody help please?

Re: FLT charging area
Hi,
I don't think you will find anything as specific as that. It will all be based on your first aid needs assessment. I suppose you will take into consideration how big the area is and how many FLT's you have as well as the process for replanishing batteries etc.

Re: FLT charging area
Juan pretty much has it covered.
2 of my sites had battery charging machines, these were massive machines that took loads of FLT batteries.
We had a shower near there for emergencies.
Another site had just a few flt's and had an eye wash station nearby, 2 bottles in a container.
Ask yourself, how far would you want to walk if you had acid sprayed/splashed in your eye, take into consideration, how your vision would be affected, any obstacles in the way, location of parked up trucks, location of electrical equipment.
