IOSH Member Website Problems

Post by Scott1875 »

I joined last week and managed to set up my CPD but have now been unable to log in for the last two days. I've sent various emails about it but had no response. I appreciate their customer service dept may be running with a smaller workforce at present but they were quick enough to take my membership money! Wonder if it's me doing something wrong, anyone else had issues? Whole site looks like it needs brought up to date imo.

Hello there Scott,

I too am a member of IOSH, so I checked whether I can log in (thank you for the reminder that I need to update my CPD :D ) and I can get logged in properly. I am on a branch and a group committee for IOSH so have a few contacts in the "inner circle" so to speak, so if you want to send me a PM with your IOSH number and email address used, I can see what I can do for you to get the message to the right person and a solution for you.

The problem with the IOSH site is that there is a pretty new public area, but logging in to do things takes you to the old 'back site'.

I had the same problem last week, I phoned up and membership desk could get into my account no problem, and couldn't see why I wasn't getting in. They did a password reset and it all started working.

There has been a lot of spam type messages getting through lately.

I am not sure if there's an algorithm that implies male IOSH members need specialist bedroom support. But that seems to be the type of spam

I wonder if some of it came with a virus and has subsequently amaged the forum 🙄
