Quick question for you all :
1) Health surveillance picked up employee failed spirometry test with referral to GP
2) Employee contacts GP and his GP apparently says he isn't concerned about it about (not too sure if this was just over the phone)
3) Employee also doesn't want to go to his GP
Never had anything flag up on a report before , can anyone suggest a way forward please ?

Re: Health Surveillance vs GP question
Bump.
Has anyone had such a situation before that may offer some guidance for Alan?
Many thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Re: Health Surveillance vs GP question
I've had a similar incident through our audiometric testing.
Employee was referred to GP by the Occupational Hygienist last year but the employee didn't go.
The OH said at this years testing that there isn't much more they/we could do other than recommend they visit their GP and follow up the referal.
We've gone down the route of acknowledging the referral in writing with the employee and leave it there with them.
