How many of us are still at our work locations?
Hi All,
Just a quick straw poll, how many people on here are still at their workplace compared to working at home?
I am in the manufacturing side, so we are still at work for as long as we can be, some have been sent home to work from the office but it is still all go on the shop floor.
Should we all go home, I see they have asked construction sites to shut down now, we are getting closed to lock down.
Just curious,
Scott

I'm office based in Pharmaceutical company.
Current working as normal but will be having the option to work from home shortly.

Normally office based for chemical manufacturer/ distributor, all staff who can work from home have been instructed to do so, currently on week 2 of this instruction.
Multiple extra on and offsite protective controls in place, as we supply chemicals to key industry sectors (water treatment and hygiene chemicals too)

Still at work in an important Govt dept.
The Dept will not close and very few will/can work productively at home. However we have a huge amount of staff self isolating so the strain on the rest of us is huge..... and untenable long term

All clients cancelled all my work but it’s funny how many phone calls I’m receiving from them asking for advice for free

Still at work at my engineering company, have a horrible feeling that the boss thinks that if he ignores Government advice the whole flu thing will blow over.
To me the advice was unambiguous: Stay home from work unless it is necessary.....

Nice to see that replacing the pavement outside my house is considered as essential
10 guys, not able to maintain social distancing - especially in their tatty minibus!
To be fair, when UK retail and leisure are closed, it seems pathetic that construction and manufacturing can decide whether they are essential. Come on Boris, extend the ban and do it today

Still in work at a manufacturing company.
Suppliers are dropping like flies, so we're going to run out of materials very, very soon.
Doubt I'll still be here tomorrow. Got plenty to do so work at home is a big option.
