Hi

Has anyone used a product similar to this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lifting-Object ... 1965&psc=1

We have porters who have requested to use them but I have concerns especially what happens if one person fall or trips?

A google search hasn't really found anything apart from an old HSE study into furniture movement that said more research is needed into their use

Thanks

So what if they are carrying a load without this strap assistance, ...what are the potential comparable outcomes of a fall or trip? Less or more severe? I guess it would depend on the load.
Most of us have seen images on media like Twitter or fb where Sherpa type characters are carrying huge loads on a forehead strap arrangement.

And would these straps be counted as a lifting accessory under LOLER? I would be inclined to say yes...
