Good Morning All,
I work at a food manufacturing plant and have had a query raised by a customer who would like us to stack the product on the pallet with an additional 2 layers. I am trying to find an ergonomic assessment tool to allow us to decide from a Health and Safety perspective if it is feasible.
I cant seem to find anything online so was wondering if any of you wonderful folk had anything I could borrow please?
thanks in advance
M

Re: Ergonomic Risk Assessment
You could carry out a MaC analysis, there are risk levels depending on weight of box, height of lift compared to user, initial position of box, and number of movements.
the tool is available from the HSE website at
http://www.hse.gov.uk/msd/mac/
Hope that helps

If it isn't broken, that doesn't mean you can't improve it. (Do three negatives make a positive ?)
