I'll be there tomorrow, Tuesday 9th, as it's the only day I have free this week.

I'll be there for Wednesday only.
We often think that when we have completed our study of one we know all about two, because 'two' is 'one and one.' We forget that we still have to make a study of 'and.'

Wasn't that impressed this year. Overall size seemed a bit smaller than last year and some of the larger concerns that would normally have crowds around them because they had an 'activity display' were there, but with nothing going on.
Very much a shortage of freebies, barely a shopping bag to be seen, even pens weren't that abundant, not that I need any at all.
Perhaps people are uncertain still due to the dreaded B word....
Did get to attend a couple of talks though, which will add to this years CPD.

Yeah, it was the first Birmingham event I've been to, and I found it pretty poor compared to the last similar thing I attended (Scotland Works, 2017).
The one talk that I really enjoyed was 'Sal' from the FDNY talking about 911 and the changes that occurred afterwards. Shame that the section that he was cut-off for was some of the most cringeworthy stuff I've ever been subject to. For those that missed it, do a Google search of Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry introducing Windows 95 and you'll get the idea.
Agreed about the freebies also. Bucketfuls of sweets and that was pretty much it.
